Thumbs up Excellent Food, Cozy Place, Friendly Staff, Clean Cutlery, Light on the wallet

Do drop by the Lebanese Village Restaurant in Bur Dubai if you are looking for any of the above.

The grilled chicken is fantastic! It will make you poorer by 22DHS but better than what the fast-food joints are offering. Grilled > less fat, no oil. Comes with french fries that they make themselves.

Kebabs, particularly the mixed grill (or mashavi/mashawi in the local tongue) is also a good buy. Generous helping of mutton, beef and chicken grilled with greens on the side.

Smoking area is available too for us smokers.

Location: In front of Al Khaleej Mall Bur Dubai near Ramada Hotel.

Another smoker - hurrah!

So many good Arabic/Lebabese place to eat in across the city, largely at bargain prices. Why eat a vile McBurger when you can have a shwarma?

3 kinds of shawarma at Lebanese Village restaurant - chicken, beef and mexican chicken (read: spicy)!

2 smoking areas too! Large open air area in front and the whole 2nd level is smoking area.
