Moving to Dubai

I am male in my thirties. I will be moving to Dubai from December. I will be placed in the teaching field. I would like good friends in Dubai. As that of every new expat's concern, my first concern is about my accomodation. I think I can spare 750AED for my accomodation there. What are the chances there.

750 is possible. House share with a number of other (Asian) expats in the older areas of Dubai or in Sharjah
