Lightbulb Ideas of working out there!

I am currently working in the UK for the UKs Largest Water Company. I have been working in London City and also in the Thames Valley areas on Major, multi-million pound construction jobs as a Construction Project Manager.
With the way things are at the moment, Im 27 and have had 6 years in the buisness, im looking to expand my horizons.

I have a young family, 2 girls 3yrs old and 4months old and a wife who is willing to come out if I find a job.

I guess what I'm really asking is is it OK out there? Will my family be amused whilst im off slaving away? Im looking at either Abu Dhabi or Dubai??

I would love the chance to get over there as I think this is the age to go but would like some reassurance from you guys, who have the knowlegde and experience, to tell me what its like...

There are a team of us who want to come out as a specialist Water/Construction Gang (1xPM 1xRE 1x Site Agent)

Where do I look to get jobs in the Water/Construction industry? The internet is so full of sites that I spend most nights searching several sites and not really finding anything.

Thanks for reading!

DEWA - Dubai Electricity and Water Authority is a good place to start but I am pretty sure that all their employees are Asian / locals. Would working for a water pump manufacturer be viable? if so search those type of companies.

yes it is 'ok' here! why the hell do you think half of Britain is trying to get out here! Accomodation is expensive though.

At a very young age, you are very lucky to find a job like that. Hope you stay. I envy you really. I am also looking for an employer or sponsorship going into canada for me to bring my wife and adopted son there. Im just starting at 38 and you`re just 27, c`mon friend, cheer up! Family security first.
