where do i stand with getting out of a rental agreement ?
I have lived in my appartment for 8 months of an original 12 month term and two months ago I handed my notice to my landlord which he accepted, I have moved out into a bigger property and now he says I can have my deposit or last rent cheque back until he re rents is out again ! any advice please

Check your tenancy contract regarding termination of contract. if anything states there then contract terms prevail, generally you need to give 3 month notice before evocation otherwise you can go to RERA to resolve the matter.
