Thinking about Dubai

Hi

I am currently thinking about relocating to Dubai with my partner, but there seems to be lots of different view points.

I am thinking of coming over for a visit first to have a look at the area, and approach a few Job Agencies. Where in Dubai would be the best area to stay in if I was on a research trip.

Does anyone know how easy it is to find work in Dubai. I am a recruitment consultant in the UK and would be looking for General HR jobs.

Is it true that if you want to live with your partner in Dubai that you have to be Married.

I have seen on a number of threads that people say that accomodation is expensive yet on some sites I have found 2 bed apartments for around £100,000. Are these false prices or are they miles away from the city.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

false prices, 130 for 2 bed in al Barsha and they are rising fast.
