Default Please help Visa Cancellations

Hello to you all, i was wondering if anyone could please offer any advice in regards to Visa Cancellations. I was working for a company that has closed and they have given me an NOC. The only problem is they are cancelling the trade liscense and the company i want to start with are in the process of changing sponsor and so cannot process my visa.

Can i go back to a visit Visa without getting a work ban? Thank you in advance for your help.

I presume the previous employer has formally cancelled your work/residency visa? They must do this for you.

If that is the case, assuming you are on a UK pasport, you can re-enter the UAE on a visit visa, but you should not be working without a proper residency visa and labour card.

The main thing is you have got an NOC.

The NOC is probably in arabic and unless you read arabic, get someone to check it for you as they are only valid for a limited period of time.

The new company PRO should be able to take the NOC to the MOL and start the process for you to obtain a new approval from them.

They may be able to get a new labour visa for you, but the PRO needs to pull his finger out and get busy on it

Thank you for that, they are in the process of cancelling them and it will be officially cancelled by the 16th July. I was hoping just to transfer my Visa to the new company that i want to work for but i can't. Should i go to the ministry of labour and ask them?

Thank you for your responce, but i didn't think the PRO could take it to the MOL until the new sponsor has renewed the trade license!

It might at least get the NOC lodged in your file so as to minimise any chance of a labour ban.

Just a thought

If you do need someone to sponsor your Visa and you have a position I do know if a company that can do manage this for you. They would hold the visa and you could work for any company you wished.

From what I have been told, yes it is 100% legal. Although you would have to speak to them directly and have them look at your particular situation.
