NZ Craftsman Plumber wanting to relocate to Dubai

Hi there, can anyone help me out, My family and I are wanting to relocate from New Zealand to Dubai. I am a 34 year old "craftsman plumber" - which is the highest qualification for a plumber in New Zealand, and have been in the plumbing industry for the last 17 years. Any advise or contacts would be greatly appreciated.

If you were looking to come here on the tools, forget it. You wouldn't be able to survive on the wages for tradesmen.

If you have been or are a manager, it may be worth it. The biggest problem is that most companies have a recruitment freeze and the vast majority are laying people off.

It is not the best time to try and get out to Dubai. It may be worth exploring avenues in Abu Dhabi or Qatar
