Another new member.......

Hi Guys,

I've recently moved over here from the UK (two weeks now) and wanted to introduce myself. Over the past 18 months although not having registered and posted I have referred to your forum extensively and found it a valuable resource in my planning - so I want to thank everyone for your contributions over this period

So I am finally here, I have to say that at times this forum has painted somewhat of a bleak picture about Dubai which did cast doubt in my mind, however I decided to go for it and so far so good - the company has looked after me and things are going to plan.

I do now appreciate the concerns and can empathize with those of you who have fallen victim to the economic downturn of recent months. It is a pretty intimidating place to start with especially so when things are so uncertain!!!

Anyway, great to be here, I am loving it so far and would love to meet up at some point as I tend to spend the weekends alone at the minute which is starting to become tedious so I may try t come for drinks etc and would love to play tennis if anyone out there plays / can recommended any clubs etc.

Look forward to hopefully meeting some of you soon...........

P.S. If anyone is knows of a second hand LCD for sale let me know

Thanks - made a little easier as it is internal, but it was touch and go right to the last minute !!

By the way - do you get used to the driving???? It's mental and scary as hell!!!
