Yes as far as I know.

It doesn't matter what taxi number you ring they will all go through to the same call centre.

I gave up and just walk to a place where they regularly drive past and just hail one - not ideal but hey ho

It's no problem in the morning but anytime after 2pm, there are absolutely no taxis whatsoever outside my office building. And booking one doesn't help either. Last time I tried, the operator patiently took my details and when I asked how long it was gonna be, he matter-of-factly told me that there were no taxis available! I've just resorted to begging for a lift from my workmates or sweet-talking our driver (when he is around) into taking me home!

Guessed as much. Can't see me being able to flag one down on the Jebal ali freezone at 5 o'clock.

It's the end of my first week and all bar one night I've ended up scrounging lifts. I won't get the other bit to my licence for at least 10 days.
