Hate to be accused of hijacking threads but some of us are going to Bait Al Mandi on Thursday 09 Aug for 6.30pm.

If anyone would like to join us drop me a PM and we can take it from there

Sorry not related to this event but just wondering how this place is? I understand Mandi is a very traditional Yemeni dish ... so is Mandi House good food? fairly authentic?

Thinking of going there with family for an Iftar so thought to hear some experiences.
Thanks.

Not sure about the one in Al Barsha, but I've been to the Bait Al Mandi in Deira several times and it's excellent, as authentic as you'll get (I went with a friend from a Yemeni background).

Have to say I prefer Al Tawasol to Bait Al Mandi: Al Tawasol in Deira, Dubai - Restaurant Reviews - TimeOutDubai.com

Thought the flavours were better

Although others in group gave Bait the big thumbs up!!! So always good to try new places
