Default No Mans Land

Hi, my hubby flew to Dubai on Sunday. It feels really strange to be left here with our daughters waiting to join him. He has his work cut out finding somewhere for us to live, as well as settling into his new job.
For me though, it feels as if I'm in some kind of no mans land. I'm still busy throwing out and preparing the house to rent out but all I can think about is being there and whatever that might bring. I suppose this is common.
I'm also panicking that I'll never finish emptying the loft, so I won't be able to join him anyway!
How do other people cope?

How do people cope with the move? They just do! Sometimes with the aid of strong drink.

Once you are out here and settled, it will all seem a distant memory.

I feel your pain. My DH leaves Friday, leaving me and my DD to pack up. We leave the end of Nov. I'm going to be so busy I don't think I will stop to think about it. When do you get there?

We hope to go late November or early December. It just depends on hubby finding somewhere for us to live. The sooner we go, the sooner we can rent the house out so it becomes self funding. We will be looking for somewhere on the airport side of the creek as his job is based near the airport.
I'm just tired out, we have been clearing for weeks and the house doesn't seem any different! I'll need a holiday when I get out there.
