Default Finding my feet

Well after a hectic month preparing for the move over and finishing up in work, I arrived in Dubai late last Wednesday and started work Thursday (not bad, Work one day, off the next!). I've moved in to "Disco Gardens" and spent the first few evenings and weekend cleaning and hanging up clothes. Thankfully all sorted now and starting to get in to work, although I'm baffled by the road network - can't seem to keep my bearings at all.

Anyway thanks to all for their advice and good will over the last 2months and I look forward to meeting up on one of the regular nights out.

G

Welcome to Dubai and you appear to be my neighbour.

Are you coming to Irish Village on Thursday?

Thanks mate. I'll skip out this week - there is a bit of a get together from work so its an opportunity to meet everyone. But I'll definitely get out next week.

Thanks again. If you're stuck for sugar ....

I don't think that he'll be coming round to borrow a cup of sugar, more like a couple of beers and sambuccas!!

I just go with the flow, don't drink as much as Maz implies I do. However, you should have seen her in Longs last week slamming tequilas and then sambuccas. I have witnesses dear Maz

My only mistermeaner was accidentally stepping on my dance partners toe during a bit of impromptu salsa - I did warn her I couldn't dance for toffee so she can't complain too much.

I don't think even she realised just how bad you are!!!

And for the record, I only had a few sambuccas. I was fine until that last shot - none of you wanted it and I don't like to see things go to waste! The tequilla, I think you will find was in your glass!!! Your witnesses would be unrealiable in any case!!
