Default feedback on employment please

has anyone used monstergulf to find a job? are they any good? im aware that many recruitment companies are charging for their services but monstergulf seems attractive as when i spoke to them it seemed all above board even though they charge a fee. ive read some posts which mention to go direct to employers and also read the read before post thread which has a list of companies on their too but due to me having no professional degree its pretty tough! im 25 and have been working in sales/customer service for the past 7 years... my dream is to live and work in dubai. Do i have no chance without any degree or do i stand a chance? in relation to contacting employers directly how would i go about this? where would i start as the first place id need to looks is a recruitment firm if im right? ive saved up roughly 11k in british pounds to start me off and for backup etc... any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Please be gentle with me as this is my first post! lol

As I have mentioned numerous times on this forum, it is illegal for an employment agency in the UAE to charge candidates. Avoid any that ask for money as they are acting illegally and not in your interests.

You don't actually need a degree for many jobs and there are ways around that for most positions. If you have any idea of who you'd like to work for approach them directly.

Seriously? Aim a lot higher than that, son.

11k is a serious amount to have put away at 25, I'd continue on the path you are on. If you've had enough of working, look into setting up with in whatever industry you are in or why not invest the 11k on wholesale items and then sell them online? You can do this evenings/weekends so you still have the security of your day job.

Anyway, the way you are going you'll be able to take yearly holidays in the sun which should sufficiently scratch any itch that is thinking here may be an option.
