I was just browsing a the net and came accross www.jobsindubai.com and thaught id register to check out what kind of vacancies they would have running for different jobs - I didnt read the full outlay of how they work and assumed that it would be just like a recruitment agency here in the UK. I then got a phone call and emails to say before i go ahead with anything and before they can send my cv to any employers i have to pay $92. I wouldnt mind paying this if i got results but how good are these lot in terms of finding a job for you or is it just a con. The lady that rang me was quite rude too as she kept interrupting and then in the end said - "i will send you an email activate it and then well be in good touch good bye" and put phone down.. id have my ears chopped for doing that here - it seemed like an indian call centre...

Anyways it would be good to know if anyone has used this and can provide any experience of it?

Would you use an agency in the UK that you paid for? NO..

Well I wasn't so sure how they worked, as not all companies are the same as the UK ones hence my thread

Loads of threads on them, they're a rip off, based in (if I recall) Canada.

Agencies earn commission from employers

To me any agency who wants money for you to be on their books is not very good at his job.. he doesnt earn much from employers.

Don't waste your time or money with those guys. They are based in Canada and a complete con.
