I know some of you work in construction, was just wondering, any of you guys working on the above project?

Would be nice to put a name to a face...albeit under a hardhat and sunglasses!

Downtown Jebel Ali is actually one massive project, consisting of a number of big developments! I'm actually working on 2 separate projects there - not on site yet, so it's unlikely that you will see me down there anytime before early 2009!

Is your project based there as well?

yeh, working on the 4 new office spaces going up at the moment. Its a pretty good site, away from Dubai centre, only been there 2 days...

Just getting used to Dubai world coming in and changing this and that..
Was quite funny today, fit out cotrator got a bit miffed and gave this gem...

They act like they own the place...
