I was just wondering about that .... ?
If there would be no labour cards which fetches 2000-5000 dhs , will the govt let it go so easily ???

I guess the difference is that companies pay for the labiur cards so they can just add that to their contract price this is just Dubai`s way of making us pay for something which was free to us before. It`s not just Dubai though as the UK border agency just charged me over $1100 for my wifes visa renewal.

Luckily our employer is paying for our Emirates ID cards as they see it as a visa related expense, so we've been asked to present an expense report with the receipts and we'll be reimbursed the cost of the card.
