Hi Kerri,
There are a lot of Brits and other nationalities who come over to Cyprus to get married so I am sure that your husband would find work videoing them.
I would suggest contacting as many hotels as possible as well as any companies who do wedding organising on t he island.
I am sure there would be openings for videoing other events as well once his name becomes known. The most important thing in Cyprus is networking

Regards Veronica

Hello Kerri,

I am reasonalbly new to Cyprus but the first thing I found is that the price of education is extreemly high. I am the Mother of 4 boys and I think I have found the solution to this part of my move to the Island, perhaps it would be of interest to you too.

Uh Oh,

Didn't manage to get the main part of the info into my message to you Kerri, about the school info. TheProgressiveacademy com I got a message saying that if I am new I can not post a URL, any way put it all together and see the website.
Good-Luck

Hi Deborah. Can you help me. I am moving to Peyia with my teenagers and the International school is very expensive. Are there any other schools for 16 and 13 years olds?

Hi Kim,

I have a son that is 13 as well and two more at home of school age, so I can sympathise with the high cost of schools on a personal level. Prior to moving here I was told by my Parents and Brother about the cost of English speaking education on the Island. Since about 10 yrs ago in America I had started a private school, I felt comfortable to incorporate that knowledge into a school enviroment here. The cost is much less than I had found at the International Schools but actually more fitting to the Island enviroment that adults move to the Island for. My thought was; shouldn't the kids get to enjoy life too, without the regimented guidelines followed by the schools I've seen here. The curriculum is highly accredited and actually about two years ahead of the public schools in America but everyone is able to work at their own pace. I am going to see if this post will take the web address now but if not you can get more info on the website at TheProgressiveAcademy, don't forget to put the (com) at the end. Sorry this is the only way to get this post to take the website.

Hope you get things sorted.
Deborah
