Default i need some good advice

hi

We have only just started to think about moving and so we are in the very early stages. I just need to know if i am being pratical with thinking we can move.

Im 24 and my fiance is 33 and we have a 3 year old little boy, i have looked at renting and the prices are not that bad. But im not sure about work permits, visa's etc.

Im also wondering if we where to move if there is child care with english facilities and what are the schools like in Cyprus? Is there english schools that i could consider?

Is the price of living more expensive than England or about the same.

Thanks in advance if anyone would be good enough to respond.

Hi Jode,

There is an international school in Paphos which takes children from nursery school age right through to college.
EU citizens do not need visas or work permits so there is no problem there for you.
We have lived here for nearly 4 years and while people complain about the cost of living having gone up we are always shocked when we go to visit family in the UK at how much more expensive it is to shop there.
You will soon find out the best places to shop for things and as long as you are not fixated on British branded goods you will find it is on the whole cheaper.
Feel free to contact me with any questions.
Regards Veronica
