Unhappy In Limassol and missing friends and family

Hi - not sure how this forum thing works but I'm hoping that you can help. My sister moved from the UK to Limassol about 6 months ago to live with her Cypriot husband. She has a baby who will be a year old this month. She would love to meet up with other mums in the area. If you know of any clubs/groups that she could join or if you are in a similiar situation - please let me know so that I can pass on the info.

Thanks

Britt

Hi, How old is your sister and where abouts in Limassol is she? My 18 year old daughter is desperate to meet new people and make some friends here (and she loves kids). We only moved here in December so she hasn't had a chance to meet many people yet.

Hi, thanks for replying I was beginning to think that no one would reply. Unfortunately my sister is an older Mum in her early 40s but she is happy to meet up with your daughter for a coffee (coke) if she fancys a change of scene/face. She lives a 10 minute walk from the old port in Limassol if that helps at all. Thanks again for you reply and let me know if your daughter wants to meet up for a chat.

Thumbs up Meeting for coffee

Hi,
Both my daughter Nikita and me would love to meet your sister for a coffee. I am 36 and I've not been here in Limassol long so we would have loads to compare notes on and chat about and to top it off we both adore babies.

We live in Pyrgos (the other end of Limassol) but we have transport so meeting up is'nt a problem and as neither of us is working at the moment we can make any day at any time. My phone number is 96342980.

I posted a reply to this thread a while ago but as I included a link to another website, my message has been deleted by admin. I am a member of another forum and on that one there are lots of members in Limassol and there's currently a thread on 'toddler groups' in Limassol. If you do a search on angloinfo you should find it.

I won't be moving to Limassol until August but will then love to meet your sister. I am also 40 and have two kids, aged 4 and 7.

Thanks for your reply I will tell her about her about the other website - I hope your move to Cyprus in the summer goes well and I'm sure she would love to meet up with you then.
