Drawing & painting holiday in Cyprus?

Dear all,
I have started painting last year (oil painting mainly) and thought that perhaps someone knew of drawing and painting courses/holidays in Cyprus that I could join. It would give me an interest as well as contact with people and would allow better insight into the place. We are thinking about moving to Cyprus in the near future.

Painting is clearly a pleasure in the Paphos area judging by the number of artists who seem to work in and around the harbour. Many of the archaeological features of the area seem to be painted often. I saw someones interpritation of the mosaics and to my untrained eye it loked like picasso had been on drugs! However I am a philistine. If you want any info on the Paphos area, just pm me.

Thanks for your replay, though must apologise for the delay - I was preoccupied otherwise. Could you tell me how easy it is to rent a car, are the prices on the level of UK, or lower/higher? How easy it is to drive? I am planning a visit soon and hoping to do some travelling around. How long would it take me to drive from Paphos to Limassol in the morning (mid week).

Good morning Krystyna, Cars can be cheaper than the UK, we always use Cyprus Car hire - Cheap Paphos car rental who are spot on. Paphos to Limassol is about 40 minutes on the motorway or a bit longe on the scenic coastal road where you may get some of your inspiration from.
