Default Driving to cyprus and ferries

Hi all

Has anyone driven thier car to cyprus loaded with personal effects?

We are taking very little with us and my OH would like to take his car. Will he be able to drive in via ferry and will there be any charges, restrictions?

Also what is the best way to go? we have looked at UK to Italy to greece to cyprus but there seems to be some issues with ferries for the last leg! can anyone enlighten me?

Thanks Lolly

Hi Lolly,
We have been looking to do the same but like you we found difficulty with the last leg, we have now been told to get in touch with the Italian Consulate as we were told that the ferry from Greece would not take passengers. We can give you further info if you are interested.

Hi again.
We made enquiries with a firm and were told we could leave from Southhampton or Bristol car empty £620, or from Hull £720, car fully loaded from Liverpool £1200,these were all roll on roll off to Limmasol thats last years prices you can find plenty of firms that deal with this on the internet we found quite a lot but rang one that was near to us, let us know how you get on as we would be interested, good luck hope all goes well for you.

Regards
Jean & Mike
