Polemi has shops and tavernas and schools and is in an area which is lovely and green.
Droushia is a smaller village with fewer facilties, further from Paphos and in the winter it is very cold with biting winds coming off the Akamas from the sea.
If I had to choose between the two I would certainly choose Polemi.

Regards Veronica

Hi 'Pretty Flower', Supporting what Veronica has said; Polemi has indeed a lot to offer, especially for a young family with its good local schools and youth activities. There's banking facilities, shops, including a beauty salon. At least 3 tavernas, including the famous Metochi Taverna and the Olive Tree with its gaint pork chops. Even a golf course only 5 minutes drive away. We did a lot of research and plumped for the village due to its location away from the heat of the coast (about 20 minutes drive away).
The resort of Polis is also only a short drive; and set amongst the Vineyards there are views towards the High Troodas.
I've sent you a private message for information. Hope thats OK?
Kind Regards, Chris
