information on schools

hi everybody, i have only recently decided to upsticks and move to cyprus so im trying to gather as much info as possible......i am a single mother and i have a 10 year old daughter.....i already have somewhere to live in penera....but i am a little confused as i have been told i need to pre register my daughter for school 6 months in advance.....can anybody tell me if this is correct? also any information about penera itself would be really helpful

You say you have decided to up sticks. How much have you looked into it?
Do you have finances behind you?
If not have you got a well paid job to come to?
It is hard enough for a couple with children to make ends meet but a single mother will find it very hard unless she has a very well paid job.
You say you have somewhere to live, is it mortgage or rent free?

i will be staying with family i have in penera, so will have no rent to pay and i have money behind me........its just you can only be told so much by family and as they dont have any children of a young age they dont no much about the schools which is what im trying to get more information on, as my daughter is my main priority i will make my final decision based on what is best for her...

If you check the threads here you will find there is already a lot of information about schools.
Kimonas in particular has good information as he and his wife both work in the education system.
