Default Self-employment, etc.

Hi, I'm new to the forum and would love to get some advice on my complicated situation.

I'm a British citizen but a resident of Spain and working here free-lance (self-employed) as a translator. My husband and I plan to move to Cyprus next spring (no advice needed on that part as we've lived there before!) and I intend to continue working for the same Spanish agencies as now. Has anyone any idea what my tax and Social Security situation will or can be under EU regs?

Also, has anyone any advice about health care? I think I can qualify for public health in Cyprus with a form E-106 (?) from Spain but my husband is American and therefore not entitled to anything! Also, I am over 60 and he is over 70 and private health insurance would be very expensive. Am I right in thinking that he can use the Cypriot public health system by paying?

He can use the public hospitals and would have to pay on a graduated scale according to income.
As he is retired (Ipresume) he would be classed as your dependant if you are still working.
The scale is as follows.
Income below €10.000 treatment is free.
Above 10k but below 15k you pay 25%
Above 15 k but below 20k you pay 50%
Above 20k you pay the full amount.
