Default third country citizen planning to move in Cyprus

Hello all,
This is my first thread so pls be lenient on me
I have a really delicate situation... My fiancee and I are non EU citizens and she just got a job in Cyprus and relocated there already... I dont need a visa to move throughout Europe, but in order to move in Cyprus I need some sort of permit... We just returned from the US where we met each other and now is just frustrating being apart... I am willing to go and join her but it looks like the bureaucracy and the immigration policy is totally against me... We both have a good education and experience... and I guess it wont be that hard for me to find a job once I can move there...
PLS any help would be appreciated!

What do you mean with you don't need a Visa to move throughout Europe?

Even if you have a good education and experience jobs are VERY hard to find.

And I think that if you are not married to your girlfriend it will be VERY hard to get a permission to stay.

I mean Albania is part of a group of western Balkans countries with a free movement regime for a period of 90 days in schengen area.
So the only way to get a permit to stay is to get married?

According to the Cyprus government homepage the citizens of Montenegro Macedonia and Serbia with biomectric passports do not need a Visa. I am sure this is also valid for Albania but you need to confirm it via your embassy that handles Cyprus.

To get Recidence permit it is other rules

Thanx for the reply Anders,
Actually I did confirm that, and we dont need a visa to travel to Cyprus. My concern regards the permit and the way how to obtain it in order so I can normally join my girlfriend... And what she has to, or how, she can help me from there...

The rules for 3:rd country Citizens to obtain residence permit is complicated

If you are going to work in Cyprus as Albania is not part of EU you will need a work permit.

If you have sufficient funds to support yourself without working you can apply for residency. Unless you fiancee is an EU citizen I do not see any advantage in marrying her try looking at this site EU – Residence rights for non-EU relatives/non-registered partners - Your Europe

Thank you for your reply,
I checked the website, but I think that info is about EU citizens trying to get non-EU citizens relatives/partners to join them. It looks really hard to get to join her in Cyprus and all is turning so frustrating. Anyway, thank u all!

I think the only way is to secure a job that don't push out any cypriot from labourmarket.

It seems that cabaret girls have a easier way to get permission. Perhaps belly dancer would be an idea
