Default Amenities for young kids

Hi my husband and I along with our 1 year old and 3 year old are going to come live in paphos for a year to give it a try before my eldest would be due to start school in Britian, therefore if it works out we can stay and if not we can come home and he would not have missed his first year of primary school here. What I wondered is what area of pathos has the best amenities for young kids? Also are there any toddler groups or nurseries in any of the pathos areas? I will spend a month at a time on my own as husband works offshore therefore I would like a friendly but sociable area. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as we are coming over in April for a week to look at rental properties
Thanks

I would live close to town - Chloraka, Emba, Yeroskipou, Anarvagos, Konia, and other close in villages since most of the things to do are in Paphos town, Kato Paphos and around these places.
