We are coming to Cyprus in Feb,, we will have the EHIC card does anyone know if this covers pre exsisting conditions, such as regular blood tests which are required every month for wafering levels, thanks Sandie and Terry

How long are you going to stay? The EHIC is really only for tourist trips, not if you are going to stay for a longer period, meaning that if you plan to get a permission to stay then the UK EHIC will be invalid.

About your pre-condition it say "Your EHIC lets you get state healthcare at a reduced cost or sometimes for free. It will cover you for treatment that is needed to allow you to continue your stay until your planned return. It also covers you for treatment of pre-existing medical conditions and for routine maternity care, as long as you're not going abroad to give birth.
