Moving to Cyprus

Me and my partner are looking at moving to Pathos early next year and was wondering if anyone could gives us an idea of how the process works and how easy (or hard) it is to do so. I have done a fair bit of research but thought it was time I spoke with people who have actually made the move.

I am a care manager and would be looking at working in the care field, and my partner is an airport manager, again working in that area if possible. Do these kind of jobs come up often?
We would consider other opportunities as we are always up for a challange!!

I would be very grateful if anyone could shed some more light on what its actually like to relocate to Cyprus.

Hi Paul and welcome to the forum.
I cannot advise re- the job situation, although from many previous posts, unfortunately, the job situation in Cyprus is as dire as in the U.K. I am sure someone else will be along soon to possibly give you information on this front.
I would possibly suggest that you read through some of the other posts that have been written here as we have had some really good entries from people who have just moved over.
I would advise you to read the entries by Leesa13, who actually wrote a diary about her move and is really helpful and interesting to anyone who is contemplating moving to Cyprus. Lisa puts the good things and the pitfalls to look out for.
I am sure there will be some others that might be able to come and make suggestions on the job stance.
Once again, welcome and ask any questions you would like to, as people are really helpful and friendly here.
