It can be really difficult to make new friends in a new city - so how about having a virtual cup of coffee and maybe arranging a social do?

Hi

Have been in Auckland 2 weeks today, finding my way around, looking for a home etc. Love to meet up with others in the same boat, or those who have been there

Hi,

We've been here 4 months, very happy with our decision, just hoping to find secure employment soon. I have been relief teaching since march, husband still looking. But awesome place and great forum. Thanks.

Good luck with finding a job tpw. Have you touched base with any of the South African expat groups? networking with them is a good way to find work.

The Afrikaans Club of NZ may be a good place to start and it used to be based in Albany.

Hi there - welcome to the Forum.
Just come on in and have a browse about. It's fairly intuitive and if you do have any problems, don't worry - we'll keep an eye and help you out.
I'm sure you'll find lots of useful info about New Zealand...

Hi all, been in NZ for 3 months, was on visitor visa, but now I'm waiting for my student visa T__T INZ giving me a hard time with it. I changed my mind to stay in here, bcoz less crime here, the transportation is also good and the weather is not too hot

Hey guys, I live out in the East Auckland area and I'm always glad to meet new people. So if anyone is ever keen to grab a coffee let me know.
