Hi to all, new to the site, my husband and i are in the process of looking at the big move to Canada from the uk, he's a quailfied carpenter and i work in local goverenment with older people, we have a daughter of 19 from my first marriage who is coming with us, she is a quailified beautician. We're about to put in our application through the skilled worker process, but it's gonna take about 40+ months to go through. It has been suggested on other sites that we look at the work permit side of things and if we do that, we can continue with our application once in Canada. I know we would have to get an offer of a job to go with the permit. My questions are, do we each need a separate work permit and job offer, or can we all go on the one ? Also, are there any sites which are best to look for jobs, as we have also heard not all job sites are good.
