Weldin work in BC

My family & I want to move to BC. I am a welder by trade & currently run my own business. I dont have any certs as I learnt the trade from my father-in-laws firm. I am willing to travel to BC to look for work & take any relevent tests. Can anyone PLEASE give me some advise??
