HGV Tech looking for some advice

Hi, my name is Ben, im 30 and have a wife and 3 children, im a fully qualified HGV tech and have been for 11 years now, currently a workshop foreman. I was offered a job in both Regina and Saskatoon working for 2 different Truck firms. Sadly due to very bad family problems with regards to the move, we didn't take the offer and ive been kicking ourselves ever since. My wife and I have decided to try again and try and find a job in Canada. We like the look of both Saskatoon and Regina, i know Canada is a big place so open to any province really.

Are there any HGV Tech on here who have made the move? id be interested to know your thoughts on the move to Canada, the work on the trucks, if you can earn a good living etc? Any general information really.

i am in the same boat as you i was offerd a job and due to family issues could not take up on it but am now looking at going over to take a look at some point would be nice to chat n share thoughts . martin 07912885523
