How can a IT person settle in canada. i assume IT is no more in list for skilled labour.

Does that mean there are no option for IT people to migrate to canada, apart from Qubec option.

Does the CIC occupation list applies for Provincial nominees also.

Any suggestions.

Thanks

I'm interested as well as I've been researching the IT market for a few years.

Usually, the market in Canada is tough especially for those who relocate with their foreign education and experience.

Canadian market in general have the issue of (Canadian experience). I believe IT is much easier than other occupations such as dentists, doctors, engineers ...etc. who need to spend extra years in evaluating their certificates.

One more thing, IT in Canada is a bit different than most of other countries. e.g. Microsoft resources are higher paid that UNIX ones and so on.

I hope I gave you useful tips
