Question Need urgent information

Hi,

I am planning to start my CANADA immigration process next week through consultancy.

I am an IT professional working in Telecom/ISP domain in Computer networking & system profile.

I have done self assessment through the CIC website and received 365 points.
The consultancy is saying that I will get an ITA with help of PNP.

So,

Q-1.) Is it really easy to get PNP in my working area ?

Also I am looking for Ontario and other Province with IT jobs.

Also they will help in getting a Job offer in the meantime.

Q-2.) Is it possible to get a job offer prior the EOI ?

Can someone please provide inputs on above concerns ?

Any consultant who claims to be able to get you a job offer is a liar.

Hi Colchar,

Thank for the info.

But I have seen most of the consultancies even the best ones' giving this option of the Job offer.

Though they are not assuring that you will get hob but they provide you some interview calls & u have to crack them.

This is their option, I am not sure how authenticate it is.

No Agent in India is going to get you a job interview in Canada that you probably could have secured yourself for free (ie the job was freely advertised for all to see and apply and not handed off exclusively to Best Exotic Marigold Immigration Consultants, Delhi)... you just need to know where to look. Even the CIC has a job bank where you can look for work as part of your Express Entry profile.

If you have some unique skill that nobody or very few people in Canada have, the hiring company will likely have head hunted you themselves for an interview, but most won't just hand an interview opportunity to some agent in India on spec.

Of course they say that, they want your money and will say whatever it takes to get it. That is just common sense. But what they say and what they can actually do are two different things. In other words, they are lying.

Ask them if you get (part) of your money back if they can't get you a job. ;-)

Too much, if you ask me, considering that OP is still going to have to do all of the heavy work himself (sit English assessments; get educational and employment references; send qualifications to WES for evaluation etc) and there's nothing that a "consultant" can do for OP that OP can't do for himself.
