Default UK Refusal - Canada PR?

Hi Senior folks

I was refused to enter UK due to forge docs issue(Bank Statement) in 2011 and I would like to know if I have an option to opt for PR Canada. At the time I went through so many hassles, got deceived by bank agent and I did not even apply for administrative review because I gave up. But by God's grace I found a job and did well and now willing to see if I can get PR

I am looking only for helpful guidance from Wise people on this forum so that I can file for PR

Age : 30 Years
Education : PG Diploma (Level 7) from UK
Occupation : 2171 NOC - 4 plus years of experience from outside Canada
IELTS : 7.5 with no band less than 7

I have used the link below and it says I am eligible for Canada PR but will my situation create any refusal for PR.

Do you want to come to Canada, or extend your stay?

Thanks in Advance

I'm pretty sure one of the questions you get asked at some point is....

"have you been refused entry into another country?"

having been refused entry for forged documents is not going to put you in a good position at this point and will pretty much halt your application process.

The advice that you were given here 3 years ago won't have changed at all.

You can try to apply but you could still be refused on suitability and/or inadmissiblity grounds.

The same would apply to the advice you received in regards to Australia and New Zealand.

Yes you're right ! I am going to say Yes to that Question and be transparent and tell them about my situation at that time as it was. Also I am planning to go for a review on my Refusal and see if I can get a clearance from UK embassy...

They may scrutinize my application which I am confident to defend but will they bluntly refuse my application even though I am eligible to apply for PR?

Even if you had a qualifying CRS score in your Express Entry profile and receive an Invitation To Apply, it's very likely that you will not receive the visa... you must still prove your suitability and admissibility to CIC and a refusal for a visa on fraud grounds will not help your application.

So according to you I should not apply for a PR because odds are slim in my situation even though I have a valid case to defend myself

Do what you want... I don't work for Citizenship and Immigration Canada and I'm not an immigration advisor and don't claim to be. I'm also not telling you what to do or not do.

All I am saying is that the UK refusal will not help your case, especially as your ban was put in place fairly recently. Again, the choice to apply to come to Canada or not is solely up to you and you alone.

If you have a "valid case" to defend, then why haven't you defended yourself to the UK Home Office to have your refusal and 10 year ban overturned? You've had plenty of time in which to file an appeal.

Also keep in mind that if you do decide to apply to come to Canada (or Australia or New Zealand) and are refused a visa, you will have to disclose this refusal (these refusals) on future applications, whenever you are asked, regardless of what country's immigration application asks you.

You expect us to help someone who has committed fraud to enter Canada?

There is no valid reason for committing fraud.

Are you trying for PR or a Study Visa and why have you posted elsewhere on the internet that your English rank is

IELTS: 8 with no band less than 7.5

which is it?

Also, a Student Visa won't lead to PR as you must either qualify to stay on a work permit or leave Canada.
