Canada_Temporary Work Permit_Application Processing Status

Dear All,
Can anyone help me in knowing the minimum application processing time for a temporary work permit when applied for Canada(Toronto) through London Visa Office.

I have applied for my TWP on May 5th, 2012 and yet to hear from them. I am quite confident that none of my informations or documents provided with the application would delay my visa process.

As per their website, the usual processing time is 8-10 weeks. I have almost completed 10th week (since I applied) while writing this post.

1. Is there someone, going through same situation? Or, anyone who would have applied during first week of May, 2012 and heard back anything from them?

2. Is there some issues/delays with TWP visa processing these days?

I know I need to be toelrant but this wait is just killing me.

Please advice if you have any info on TWP processing times these days.
