BUNAC USA Work Canada question.

For the record, I've e-mailed BUNAC USA with these questions, and they just referred me back to the website with little to no explanation. Also did a forum search, didn't find anything on my specific question.

On we go!

Hypothetically, if I were to graduate in December, could I apply for the BUNAC USA Work Canada visa during the Spring term? So, during the months of January - May? They don't specify on the website, really. They just say "recent graduates". I know taht you are given 12 months to activate the visa.(Though feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.)

I was just thinking that if I graduate in December 2012, I could (hypothetically) apply for the visa in March 2013, work for a little while to save money, and then go to Canada around February (2014). Just wondering if this is possible. Someone mentioned that they aren't very strict on this when I looked online, but one can't be too sure.

I've also read a bit about SWAP, but I honestly haven't found as much info on it.
