Greece to Canada

Any advice? My 3 children and I are Canadian Citizens. My husband is Greek and unemployed here in Greece. I am currently working part time. I'm wanting to return to Canada, mostly for my children's future and secondly to help look after my eldery parents. Me eldest children are 15 and 16 and youngest is 8. My plan is to go, either alone or with my youngest, stay with my parents until I get a job. Set up my youngest in school and to find an apt. so the rest of my family can come over. I can't stay for long with my parents as they live in a 2bdrm. apt. and they're set in their ways but I need to be close to look after them. Does this plan sound realistic? Is it plausable I could find a job, any job doing anything? Do I have to sponsor my husband so that he can come as well? I also need to put my older children into school there once I've settled. The bottom line is, we don't have a lot of cash, and even though we own our own home here in Greece, we can not sell it (due to 'his' family traditions). We would be moving to Vancouver (Surrey). Thank you for any advice.
