Looking for advice

Hi,

I am new to this site and I am looking for some advice. I’m currently living in the UK and looking to move to Canada in the next year or so.

I don’t know anyone over in Canada and I was wondering what a person does if moving to another country and they don’t have any contacts or friends? Has anyone reading this done the big move on their own and do you have any guidance etc you could give?
