USA to Canada Shipping Companies

Hello,

Before 911 you could ship between the two countries through the train and greyhound bus but no longer. Does anyone have any experience with moving companies or the most economical way to ship stuff from the USA to Canada.

There are a few companies who are quoting over $4000 for a small amount of things and I hate to think it is cheaper to ship to other countries then Canada which is next door.

Uhaul has trucks for about $700 but as you know, you have to drive it!!!

Any ideas??????

What are we talking about here? Boxes of personal stuff or furnishings, sofas, tables etc? If just boxes what about FedEx or UPS.

Fedex and UPS is mostly for small things not a household of things.

Unless you want to drive a UHaul then you'll have to pay the piper.
