Default Thinking of moving to Canada from Dubai - British nationals

Hello people, my wife and I are thinking of leaving Dubai for the outdoor life in Canada. I am a financial advisor in a bank and my wife is a English teacher.
This is the early stages but any advice that would help us to find jobs and make the relocation easier would be much appreciated. Any help on good sites for jobs, parts of Canada to look at living to start a family etc. thank you.

My wife is a teacher so I can offer some advice on your wife's area of employment for Canada.

Teaching jobs can be quite hard to come by in Canada, specifically Ontario. My wife (Canadian) is a teacher and found it a very competitive market to get employment.

If your wife qualified in England, some of the teaching qualifications from the UK do not transfer over and yo may find that she may have to sit a teaching programme here before being allowed to register for the teaching boards (could actually be up to a year long). All recruiting for teaching jobs is done centrally with the districts school boards. Have a look at the areas you're looking to move to and their school districts website will be able to offer more accurate info on eligibility.

Good luck! It's definitely worth it!
