I wouldn't ship too much, just as well getting items from Canada. But the keepsakes are always sentimental.

Approx 10 cardboard boxes different sizes toys,books,cd,photos,clothes,house stuff,kitchen stuff,bicycles,pictures

We shipped 25 boxes last year with RAS Group in Ballycoolin, Dublin. they were very reasonable and we saved money by doing our own packing and providing our own boxes. We brought 3 bmx bikes, approx 4 boxes of kids toys, and other things that we didnt want to leave behind. The shipment arrived about four weeks after we did and my OH also shipped his tools as he is a mechanic. If you need any other details feel free to ask. I personally found these guys pretty good and not a thing was broken or even damaged when the truck arrived at this end. good luck with your move. And the best of luck with your new adventure.
