Default UK Fiance Visa for Canadian

Hi All - I'm new this forum and hoping someone can share their experience in getting a UK Fiance visa from Canada. I just recently got engaged to my fiance who is a British citizen and have applied for a UK fiance visa in Ontario, Canada. I paid the additional priority service fee, so fingers crossed it will be processed in 3 weeks. We would like to get married in this summer. I'm just very nervous about the whole process and don't really know what to expect now. Are they just confirming its a true relationship, you're not a criminal, there's enough financial support and appropriate housing available?

Many thanks for any comments!!

Yes, all that and more! They are now strict in applying the rules and your application needs to be complete. If not, they will contact you (usually by email), and if it can be remedied by sending additional documents for example, you will be told what to do.
They will also take into account your previous immigration history. If you have had any adverse dealing with UK immigration, then that will be considered alongside other factors.
And your supporting documents need to be such that they adequately evidence your answers given on application.
You have sent your application now, so just sit back and wait for any news.

Thanks for your note!
I was wondering if you could advise if multiple UK entry stamps (averaging 1 per month every for the past year) will be viewed as a negative? I'm a bit concerned they may think i over stayed...but I have never been denied entry and always honest about my visit.

Don't think so. It shows you are keeping in touch with your fiancé and obeying the terms of your visitor status.
