Default Suggestion required on ILR application

Hi,

I am citizen of India. I am in UK on workpermit and trying to apply for ILR. I have completed 5 years in December-2010. But, I was outside UK for 7 months due to my wife’s pregnancy and some complications. Later I returned on same workpermit. For these 7 months, I was not paid in UK. Can someone please suggest If I am eligible for ILR?

If yes, can I take a premium appointment? In case, my application is rejected, do I need to pay full application fee?

Your period away from UK will not affect your ILR application. It may affect your naturalisation should you want it (after another year in UK), but they have discretion to disregard it for a compassionate reason like the one you've described.
You need to pass Life in the UK test, which you can take now.
You can pay for same-day premium service, but you won't get any of your fees back if they reject your application and you have to pay again when reapplying.
