Default pregnant australian uk boyfriend

Hi, I'm new to this forum and not sure how everything works as yet... but would be grateful for some advice if anyone can help me.

I am an Australian citizen in the UK on a working holiday visa. I've just found out that I am pregnant to my boyfriend (who is a UK citizen). The pregnancy was unplanned but we've decided to have the baby. My visa will be valid for nearly a year after the baby is born. I believe the baby will be able to get Australian and UK citizenship. Am I right about this? If so, will I be able to enter Britain with my baby (after it's born) on my current visa, or do I need to apply for another kind of visa before it's born?

Does it make a difference if we get married and I apply for a spouse visa or apply for an unmarried partner visa? What difference would it make?

When we apply for the visa how much money would my partner and I need to have to cover the visa application and show that we can support ourselves? What options do we have open to us if we don't have enough money?

I look forward to hearing your comments.

I know of females in a similar situation that because they were not married were eventually asked to leave the country.

Any applications you make will be seen more favourably if you are married, at the end you are at the mercy of the vagaries of the bureaucracy, but the system certainly prefers married people...

Congratulations by the way

I would go for “unmarried partner visa” (defacto) it's a lot simpler
