Default A website to research UK salaries?

Hello again!
Does anyone know a good website to research UK salaries? My husband's company hasn't given him the details of his UK salary yet, and we want to know if it is comparable when we finally get to see it.
Thanks again,
Kathleen

You might try searching the online newspapers, such as The Times, The Independent, The Guardian and the Evening Standard. You can google all these.

Google what ? Should this company already be giving you the run around , what are your chances AFTER you have settled ? Not trying to burst your bubble or anything , but should they not be responsible for the information you both require and actually need at this time ? mColin .

Hi Kathleen,

If you put UK salaries in google there are several websites such as

reed.co.uk Salary Calculator
Salary Checker | Money & Salary Advice - Monster.co.uk
Salary Centre | Salary checker | UK salary guide - MSN Money UK

Hope that helps,
Karen

If you read Kathleen's post, she merely states that they haven't received a salary figure yet. She doesn't say anything about being given the run around. She is purely checking out the situation in advance. Not a bad idea in my opinion.

Default Thanks everyone! :)

Those sites really helped! Thank you!

At least now we know what to expect. As a reply to Oddball, just wanted to let you know that my husband's company is moving us. He already works for them. We just need to protect ourselves when it comes to salary.

I checked out the last link ..

They get there figures from the same place the Government get there ideas from i reckon

My mate is a plumber works himself ragged 6 days a week !! and is lucky to hit 30k a year yet ( A good plumber can earn anything between £500 and £2,000 a week: that’s more than £100,000 a year ) according to the statistics

So treat with caution .
