Moving to Barlborough and Hello :)

Hello,
My husband's company is moving us to Barlborough. I just want to say hello, and introduce myself. I love your forum, and I'm sure I will have a million questions. We are in our late thirties, and have no children. I have a service dog named Maisie, and we are all looking forward to enjoying the UK.

I know the UK is little and I grew-up there, but I don't know where Barlborough is. Can you enlighten us?

Barlborough is in Derbyshire south east of Sheffield.

A quaint little village and there is great B&B there which we stayed at during one of our trips up north. Lots of history but very quiet. I think they still close the gates at 9

Thanks for the clarification - I know Sheffield very well because my son supports Sheffield Wednesday Football Club, even though we are all London born and bred
