How to save money on international calls?

Newbie here, any good way in UK to make cheap calls to Brazil?

if you have a PC, of course Skype, if you're using mobile, I know a software named MO-Call, you can give it a try, it's cool. I can't leave the url here, just search it with google,

Skype is good, but there are now any number of online VOIP services available - some with lower rates than Skype, even. (I stick with Skype because I like having a permanent phone number back in the US with an answering machine.)

There's a good service based in France called Wengo. And I'm sure if you Google "VOIP services" you can find more.
