Default Checking on a company in Aberdeen.

Hi guys,
I just joined this forum. Anyway before I ask, can I actually mention a company name and address to check whether it actually exists?

I got an offer from a company based in Aberdeen, and this is my first time working outside Malaysia thus I'm little worried if the company doesn't exist.

he he he I did, but found many companies that may or may not related to the job offered. Then I received a contract, with it, came together with the address and website. I checked, looks very professional and believable. I hope it is a legitimate company. The concern because I have no one I know in Aberdeen or in Scotland. Just to be sure. This will be my big move so I dont wanna mess it up

Hi
Im not 100% certain if this applies to Companies based in Scotland but Im sure someone will confirm it or not later .... but have you tried searching Companies House Companies House this should at least let you find out if the company is registered and other useful info that may help.
