Starving on dollars?

I am a reporter for the L.A. Times, and my editors have asked me to write about the plight of Americans (or other nationalities) living overseas on dollars, especially in the U.K. If there is anyone out there who would be interested in being interviewed on the phone about trying to make do with less, and less, and less, I would be very interested in talking to you.
